Your first appointment with Mr Jeremy Nettleton is focused on understanding your symptoms, concerns, and goals. He’ll take a detailed history, review any previous tests, and arrange the right investigations if needed. You’ll have time to ask questions, and you’ll leave with clear next steps based on what’s most likely causing your prostate or bladder symptoms.
Once your assessment is complete, Mr Nettleton will create a treatment plan tailored to you. This may include conservative options, medication, or specialist procedures depending on your diagnosis and lifestyle needs. If you’re suitable for minimally invasive treatment, he may discuss options such as Aquablation for BPH, or TURP when appropriate, explaining benefits, risks, and expected outcomes in plain language.
If treatment is needed, you’ll be guided through the process with a calm, patient-centred approach. Mr Nettleton provides both surgical and non-surgical care across areas such as BPH, LUTS, prostate and bladder conditions, renal and ureteric stones, vasectomy, and erectile dysfunction. Whether it’s a day-case procedure or planned surgery, you’ll know exactly what to expect before, during, and after your treatment.
After your treatment, you’ll receive structured aftercare advice and a clear recovery plan. Follow-up appointments ensure your symptoms are improving, your results are reviewed properly, and any concerns are addressed early. If you’ve had a procedure like TURP, recovery is typically around two to three weeks, with most patients returning to normal activities within a month, depending on individual healing and activity level.

Mr Nettleton, is a superb surgeon. I visited him as he was the first surgeon to complete aquablation surgery in the Southwest, Midlands or Wales. I was also aware that he runs a UK training centre for aquablation and that he is the highest volume surgeon in the region having an NHS and private practice. I had high expectations and my experience has been absolutely fantastic. He comes highly recommended.
