Jeremy Nettleton speaks at BAUS 2026 on Aquablation Therapy for BPH

Consultant Urological Surgeon Mr Jeremy Nettleton was invited to speak at this year’s British Association of Urological Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting, BAUS 2026, held from 15 to 17 June at Olympia, London.

BAUS is one of the most important events in the UK urology calendar, bringing together consultants, clinicians, trainees and industry partners to share knowledge, discuss new developments and explore the future of urological care.

Mr Nettleton took part in a PROCEPT BioRobotics satellite symposium titled “Aquablation® Therapy: Redefining the Standard for Modern BPH Management.”

The session explored how leading clinicians are approaching the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as BPH or enlarged prostate, and how Aquablation therapy is helping to shape modern treatment options for men with urinary symptoms.

Discussion topics included the role of Aquablation therapy in addressing current NHS challenges, the latest guideline updates and patient outcomes following treatment.

One of Mr Nettleton’s own patients also took part in the session, sharing his personal experience of life before and after undergoing Aquablation therapy under Mr Nettleton’s care. He spoke about the urinary symptoms he had been living with, the impact those symptoms had on his day-to-day life, and how his quality of life has improved since having the procedure.

Mr Nettleton’s involvement in the symposium, alongside a patient he personally treated, reflects his ongoing role in advancing awareness and understanding of Aquablation therapy within the urology sector. As a specialist in BPH treatment and Aquablation surgery, he continues to contribute to important clinical conversations around innovation, patient outcomes and best practice in men’s health.

For men living with symptoms of an enlarged prostate, such as frequent urination, getting up at night to pass urine, urgency, weak flow or difficulty emptying the bladder, specialist assessment can help identify the cause and the most appropriate treatment options.

Mr Nettleton offers private urology consultations at Nuffield Cheltenham, Winfield Gloucester and Spire Bristol. To find out more about Aquablation therapy, or to book a consultation with Mr Jeremy Nettleton, please contact the clinic team on book@jeremynettleton.co.uk
