Mr Jeremy Nettleton to Speak at National Urology Webinar on Aquablation Therapy
Mr Jeremy Nettleton, Consultant Urological Surgeon, has been invited to speak at a national webinar for healthcare professionals on Aquablation® Therapy and modern treatment for BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as an enlarged prostate).
The event, titled “Aquablation® Therapy: Redefining the Standard for Modern BPH Management,” is part of the BAUS Sponsored Innovations in Urology series, delivered in partnership with PROCEPT BioRobotics. It brings together specialists from across the country to discuss the latest advances in BPH treatment and how they are improving outcomes for patients.
Being asked to speak at this kind of event is a recognition of Mr Nettleton’s experience and standing in the field. He is one of a small number of UK surgeons regularly involved in training and educating other clinicians on Aquablation Therapy, alongside his own surgical practice and this invitation reflects that expertise.
This matters for patients too. It shows that Mr Nettleton is not just performing these procedures, but is recognised as one of the surgeons helping to teach and refine how they are used across the country.
What is Aquablation Therapy?
Aquablation Therapy is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment for BPH. It uses robotic guided imaging and a heat free waterjet to remove excess prostate tissue with precision. This approach can help relieve urinary symptoms while reducing some of the risks and side effects associated with more traditional prostate surgery, such as issues with sexual function.
Specialist Care Close to Home
Mr Nettleton sees patients with prostate enlargement and urinary symptoms, including those considering Aquablation Therapy, from his clinics in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bristol. If you have been experiencing urinary symptoms and want to discuss your treatment options with a specialist in this field, get in touch to arrange a consultation.
